Dr. Garling’s Bio

For many years, he has had an avid interest in the intersections of finance, economics, and politics. He discovered that many of the processes of analysis and interpretation in science and medicine carry over to finance and related topics. In a way, he has come full circle from starting as an undergraduate business major and finishing as an undergraduate sociology major. Creating an entrepreneurial medical practice further fueled his interest in how things play out in the marketplace.

Garling’s Key Insight’s primary assumption is that identifying economic dynamics and trends is foundational to crafting an investment strategy. So, the main focus of Key Insights will be the why of what is going on in the world of investments. Some topics though will be pursued for the sheer fun of it. Keep in mind that not all insights will lead to an obvious investment action. However, most insights will hopefully contribute to an improved context for investment decision-making.
